Paste Stack

Queue it up. ⌘V through it.

Filling a form, moving a list, copying from one doc into another? Load a stack, then every ⌘V in any app pastes the next item, in order.

  1. Build a stackSelect items in the panel and press ⌘↩. Or press ⌃⌘C anywhere, then copy things one after another.
  2. Paste, paste, pasteEach ⌘V pastes the next item. A small indicator shows what's next and how many are left.
  3. It tidies upThe stack ends by itself after the last item. Your clipboard is back to normal.
Try it in the demo above: select a few items with ⇧↓, press ⌘↩, then ⌘V

A closer look

Fast to find. Lovely to look at.

Real screenshots of Copse 0.1.0. No mockups.

  1. 01 · Search

    A few letters find anything

Type “invoice” and Copse finds the code, the SQL and the email that mention it, ranked as you type. Tokens like type:link or app:slack narrow it further.

The Copse search panel with “invoice” typed, listing a SQL query, a GitHub link, TypeScript code and a JSON file under Best matches.
  2. 02 · Scope

    Switch scope with Tab

Everything, text, links, code, images, emails, colors or snippets. The scope strip lives in the search bar, and Tab moves through it.

The Copse panel in light mode with the Code scope active, showing TypeScript, a shell command and JSON.
  3. 03 · Actions

    ⌘K for everything else

Paste as plain text, transform, run an AI action, pin, protect or lock with Touch ID. Every action has a shortcut, shown right beside it.

The Copse actions palette listing Paste, Paste as Plain Text, Copy, Quick Look, Transform Text, AI Actions, Pin, Protect and Lock with Touch ID.
  4. 04 · Code

Code that reads like your editor

Press ⇧Space for a big preview. Code gets its language, line numbers and highlighting that fits light and dark, plus wrap and one-click copy.

Privacy

Your history stays yours.

A clipboard sees everything: passwords, messages, work in progress. Copse is built so the only place it ever lives is your Mac.

Every connection Copse makes

  • License checkWhen you activate, then every week or two. Your key and a one-way hash of your Mac.
  • Update checkA signed update feed, fetched by Sparkle. No system profile.
  • Link previewsOptional. Fetched straight from the site the link points to.
  • AI actionsOnly when you run one, only to the provider you picked. On-device sends nothing.

None of them include anything you copied. Read the policy

No account

Download, open, done. There is nothing to sign up for.

No cloud, no analytics

Your history never leaves your Mac unless you send an item to Copse Cloud AI yourself.

Passwords stay out

Items that password managers mark as concealed or transient are never saved.

Excluded apps

Pick apps whose copies Copse should ignore entirely.

Hidden from screen sharing

The panel stays invisible when you share or record your screen.

Stored locally

History lives in your user Library, on your Mac, and nowhere else.

Copse for Chrome

Every copy remembers its page

Copy something in Chrome, Arc, Brave or Edge, and Copse keeps the page's address, title and icon with it. Later, jump straight back to where you found it.

  • Works in Chromium browsers: Chrome, Arc, Brave and Edge
  • Minimal permissions, and it only talks to Copse on your Mac
  • Your Copse license unlocks it, at no extra cost
  • Optional: basic source info works even without it

FAQ

Questions, answered

Anything else? Write to copse@mayankbuilds.com.

Why isn't Copse on the Mac App Store?

Because the App Store sandbox doesn't allow an app to paste into other apps, and pasting back into the app you were in is the whole point of Copse. So Copse is sold directly, like many of the Mac's best utilities.

How do I know the download is safe?

Copse is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so Gatekeeper checks it before it first opens. Updates come through Sparkle and are cryptographically signed; Copse refuses an update whose signature doesn't match. To check it yourself, run spctl --assess --verbose /Applications/Copse.app in Terminal. It should say accepted, source=Notarized Developer ID.

What happens to my clipboard data?

It stays on your Mac, in your user Library. Copse has no account, no cloud and no analytics, and your clipboard content never leaves your Mac unless you choose to run a Copse Cloud AI action on an item. Delete an item, or clear your history, and it's gone. The privacy policy lists every network request Copse makes.

Will Copse save my passwords?

No. Password managers mark what they copy as concealed or transient, and Copse never captures those items. You can also exclude any app so nothing copied in it is kept, and the Copse palette is hidden from screen sharing and recordings.

Can I use one license on several Macs?

Yes. One $2.99 license covers all of your personal Macs, and the same key unlocks Copse for Chrome.

Is there a free trial? How do refunds work?

Instead of a trial there's a 7-day, no-questions refund. If Copse isn't for you, email copse@mayankbuilds.com within 7 days of buying and you'll get your money back.

Is it really a one-time price?

Yes: $2.99 once, for a lifetime license. The only optional extra is Copse Cloud AI credits, and you never need them. On-device AI and bring-your-own-key AI are included with the license.

Which Macs does it run on?

macOS 15 Sequoia or later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. On-device AI needs macOS 26 or later with Apple Intelligence available.

Why does Copse ask for Accessibility access?

So that ↩ can paste straight into the app you were using. macOS requires Accessibility permission for that. If you'd rather not grant it, Copse still copies the item for you and you press ⌘V yourself.

Do I need Copse for Chrome?

No. Copse shows the source app and time for every item on its own, and Chromium browsers already include basic page info when you copy. Copse for Chrome adds the page title and icon, and a “jump back to source” button.

Can I install it with Homebrew?

It's planned. Once it's available: brew install --cask copse.

Never lose a copy again.

Copy freely. Copse brings it back.
